Shake-down flight around Telluride

Recommended Posts

This Focke-Wulf Ta152 has been fully restored over the last three years and will be tested today for the last time before being delivered to her new owner in Aspen.

The utmost of what I could achieve was 700 km/h or 375 knots. Her reported top speed at 13,500 meters ( 41,000 ft) level flight was some 755 km/h or 407 knots, using a GM-1 oxide boost

And now the exciting part starts: landing this beast

One second prior to touch-down. No center line landing, but otherwise I think I didn't do too badly

The plane btw is the a2a Focke-Wulf Long Nose for FS9!! I think I bought her in 2006 and she flies nicely now also in P3D 3.4

What a beautiful flight.

I guess the sound is overwhelming, too.

Bernd, do you know if this FS9 plane model is still sold somewhere?

EDIT: Have it...

The sound is tremendous, Harald, especially if you crank up them loudspeakers
