What do you mean by "non native"?

Hi

When you click on the resolution panel, 1080p, 1920 x 1080 (native), why is that? does it matter if this appear this way instead of 4k x 2k, 3840 x 2160 as native?

Something is amiss. I have the same graphics card you do, and my 4k resolution shows up as native.  If you have more than one display, you may wish to ensure you've selected the 4k TV, as your second monitor will likely show at 1920x1080.

Also, be sure you're running the monitors as Extended, not Surround.

Does it matter?  I believe the display won't look nearly as good than if the resolution was set to a 4k resolution, but I've never tried it.

Do you mean the TV setup resolution panel or the flight sim panel?

But they both should normally set to your tv's native resolution of 3840x2160.

You can set lower for better performance but the graphic quality might drop a lot.

What sim are you using?

P3D version Yes, my TV resolution panel, flight sim panel matched my tv resolution. I am using HDMI cable, I am trying to figure why my 4k resolution isn't set up correctly.

DaveCT2003 - I have both monitor set up correctly, being the smaller one is extended.

I have a 55 inch 4k, and three 23 inch LCDs. The 4k is at 3829x2169 and all other monitors are at 1920x1080.

Other info: Frames in the default F-22 at Eglin exceed 138 fps (though I run limited frames).

System: i7-4770k Turbo at 3.5 (no o/c), GTX 960 (no o/c).

If it is set to 3829x2169 in the nVidia control panel "Change Resolution" page and you can select that in P3D then all should be right.

Also as Dave said make sure you are setting the resolution of both screens individually.

3829 resolution

3829 resolution?  That can't be right for that TV, and I'd bet that's not native.  Maybe create custom settings for what my 4k is running at (and all the other 4ks around here that I know of).

Sorry for the confusion, I meant 3840 not 3829. Thanks for all the help.
