Hi all!I've just purchased the PMDG 737 and went for a ride today... well, the package is superb, but as I was approaching seattle (the default scenery) flying over the city (downtown) and sometimes over just autogen areas, I

I have almost the same setup, although a Geforce 6600GT . You don't want to have all slider maxed out anyway (not with your setup and 1600x1200), especially for the clouds/weather. Play around with the FS weather setting and the ones from FSUIPC. I generally get 20-25fps in the VC.Pat

The 737NG panel isn't nearly as hard on framerates as some others. I think you're doing better than the average in that type of situation. The low framerates you're seeing are caused by your FS9/system settings, not the 737 panel.Doug

Hi guys! thanks for answering!actually I was flying over the NYC area and got pretty low FPS (10-15fps) with fair weather and ulimited visibility... I was using the 2D panel of the 737NG... Is NY this heavy!? I mean, I've flown over very dense mesh sceneries and atogen and buildings getting around 18-25FPS with the 737NG! very weird...Many Thanks,Lucas.

Almost all of the major cities in the US are heavy for FS. I think I would back your resolution down to 1280 x 1024 and see what that does, I know 1600 x 1200 is pretty, and I would love to fly at that, but 1280 x 1024 isn't that big of a compromise and you should see markable difference, even with all the sliders maxed. Hope this helps ya, and Happy Thanksgiving!http://home.earthlink.net/~dawgfighter/sit...es/swvasig1.gif-Jeremy BurchSWVA4806 http://www.virtualswa.com/home.phpThe Ozark Dogfighter http://forums.avsim.net/images/wedge.gifHappy Flying!
