737 Max

Recommended Posts

PMDG,

Is there any plans on producing the 737 Max?

Stephen

Welcome to the forum Stephen.

First - it's a forum requirement to include your first and last name in your posts.

As far as the MAX question goes, you may want to have a search through the forum. This has been covered a number of times.

Eventually MAX is going to replace split-scimitars and bay windows as the flavor of the week.

I've searched and can't find it. Care to provide the relevant link, Kyle?

Go to the top right of the screen and click on the Gear icon next to the search box.

In the "find words" box, type "737 MAX" (no quotes).

Scroll down to the "Find in forum" box and select "The PMDG Support Forum."

Click "Search now."

Kyle, on my initial search, I found plenty of topics related to the MAX, but couldn't find one with the relevant information from PMDG. So, how about simply providing the information requested (e.g. the 737-MAX will be next in line after the 747 is completed), or you provide a link to the specific post in which the requested information is contained? Your response is not helpful, and frankly, quite unprofessional. If I provided my business clients with vague answers and to go off in search of the required information themselves in the way in which you have, I'd be out of business pretty quickly.

Matthew,

I know you've been around this forum long enough to know how we convey official information. Any relevant information is going to find its way to a sticky at the top of the General Forum. You have also been around long enough to know that, unless we've made a position public, we don't talk about it. I'm not certain, but I think I've been in a few threads, where it was possible, I provided a direct link, to the exact information. Usually, if RSR posted something related to a topic, I'll track that down and use that in the cases where official company direction is at hand. That's not the case here.

The OP asked a question that has been asked many times. As I'm not in the position to publicly discuss what is or isn't on our agenda that isn't already known, I figured I'd point him in the right direction by encouraging the use of the search function. Your response seemed to indicate that you either didn't know how to use the search function, or were unwilling, so I provided a quick batch of results. One would imagine that, given my response, it's not too hard to see that we're not interested in commenting on it right now. None of the team is obligated to answer questions here, particularly questions that are related to the direction of the company. If you don't like that, then I'm not particularly bothered.

I could've easily simply ignored the thread. However, given that his post count was low, I wanted to at least welcome him. As part of that, I also figured that encouraging the use of the search function to find existing discussions wouldn't hurt.

Matthew,

Thanks for the information. I have been a dedicated PMDG customer for many years. Right at 6500 hours with Vatsim! I am looking forward to the 737 MAX!

Regards,
