November 8, 20169 yr Author We never intended to not meet the needs of our customers. As a 3rd party developer you really never know how a product will be received. Even to the day of release of REX Worldwide Airports we went back in forth internally about what to expect. We clearly under estimated the hit our servers would take. We have learned some lessons here and things WILL be different when the next release comes. A little humility here and there is always a good thing. I hoped as much. You know I and many others here support you and the REX team. We don't like seeing you get a black eye, and hope the next release will go much better for you. But we would encourage you to download it when you have the time, and if you are able to wait a day or two, to do so. We expect this will cause less pressure on the system and less frustration for everyone involved." Then you've set a different expectation. If things go great, you're golden. If they don't, you've done right by your customers with a warning. And if the next release is Sky Force, I would plan on demand much greater than what you saw for Airports HD ...
