But some features are country specific. I dont want dest and arr airports to be the same. Neither do I want to go into REX enroute to select another texture set

Then you're out of luck. This is how Microsoft ACES made the system, and neither LM or DTG has changed it to date.

This isn't the case and chances are you will not see everything the same at all.

Mmmm I think I get get it. Default airports will now be detailed boring rather than plain boring. Lack of signage based on what country you are in - advertisment signage etc are all missing and those jetways of yours are all glass panelled - not even any choices there REX? Not seen any on your website demo. Not impressed

Not all jetways are glass.

Use of advertising etc. would be a legal nightmare. Most logos are copyrighted and usage prohibited without permission.

So yes, the REX textures are lipstick on a pig, and only you can decide if they're worth it. Your complaints are better addressed to Lockheed Martin or Dovetail Games.

The product does exactly what it claims. No more, no less. It never claimed to turn default airports into FSDT or Flightbeam pay ware.

I like it. It gives the ilusion of a new airport, and it looks good. I think it is a good value.

16 choices to be exact... not all glass.

Also, you may pick this up now at 50% off ($14.99 usd) until December 1st! It's a darn good offer for the amount of content/choice you receive.

A new product on sale for 50% off just a couple weeks after it was introduced?

Won't that be a bit of a screw to those of us who bought it after introduction?

^^^^  YES !!!!   Not impressed!!!!

So why all jetways they show  all the same?  Just bad marketing I guess.

lol love that 'lipstick on a pig' metaphor - never heard that before..  Not sure you are right about copyright issues tho. Its free advertising after all -no plageurism.

Then why dont you help sell the product by showing us more on your promo? ALL the jetways are glass and no advertising boards anywhere to be seen - most unrealistic...

Apologies to REX. What I discovered was when I turn on autogen to normal the disappearing hangers cease. Since most of my flying is airliners I leave autogen off for performance reasons. Don't know the reason for this but that seems to be the case. Not REX'S fault.

Correct. But I always thought having at least one notch on the autogen slider avoided this problem. I don't want to hijack a thread but you could try editing autogen cells to show an extremely low amount of autogen. I have not tried this yet, maybe tonight. But try setting it to 1 per cell? That way you can have the slider up and have very little performance hit and no vanishing buildings.

I purchased it on day 1, cant say I am overly impressed with it really, the design of the original texture size means that the texture gets repeated over and over again along the side of the building. If you have the bland texture it looks ok, if you choose some detail like the safedock baked into the texture, you see loads of them in a row!

FWIW, I like it. Brightens and cleans up some of the airports IMHO. But, as they say, YMMV.
