How to use Carenado's B350i Proline 21

Recommended Posts

As promissed in another post, I have created a document that describes in detail how to use the Proline 21. It is a PDF that you can download from here:

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/22810025/Proline21%20How%20To.pdf

The content will save newbie's a lot of time and might give insights to more experienced simpilots.

I gave it a version number, so, if I need to change something, I can update the document and the link above stays valid.

Enjoy,

Dirk

Nice job Dirk and I do like how you started off with this for the Carenado's interpretation of the PL21. As we have see all over the forums, is far from accurate. If the PFD "scoreboard" worked, that would at least avoid some of the confusion as to which lateral or vertical mode one has the plane in. I thought about adding how it's done in the real plane, but that would just add to the confusion.

I gave it a version number,

It did not take long to have my first OMG. Today I dicovered that while on VNAV and you have dialed in a lower FL, VNAV ignores that limit and continues to climb until it reaching the FL that is in the FMS. The text of the download pdf has been changed. Version number is now 1.1.

Hi,

I have v1.1 of the document saved as a PDF file. If you PM me with an email address, I'd be more than happy to send it to you.

Cheers,

Scott
