NET 2.0 Fix

Recommended Posts

Jim,I'm puzzled... what do you mean? So far as I am aware, FS04 has no dependencies on .NET. Am I missing something?DJ

Hi,When NET 2.0 was released some had trouble running FS04 and NET 2.0 on the same machine. Somewhere there was posted a fix where an un-necessary file needed to be deleated. I just re-checked all the Blogs and I can't find it there. Yes, I can go back to .NET 1.1, but some new stuff needs .NET 2.0.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Sales and Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg

Hi Jim,I've just recently updated Microsoft.NET to version v2.0.50727 and FS9 seems to be running as well as usual.Mike

Jim,You can have NET 1.1 and NET 2.0 running side by side on the same machine with no problems; it isn't a question of going back - NET was designed for side by side operation. The NET assemblies will automatically get the version they need at run time...DJ
