Sound Transducers other than Buttkicker 2

Is anyone using any other methoud of converting sound to vibration other than using the Buttkicker 2.  The BK2 amp packed up only 2 months after use.  Am looking for a more robust setup.

The Pearl Throne Thumper is used by a fair number of drummers using electronic drums...same concept as the Buttkicker.

Funnily enough, I just had a look at them.  There seems to be a much wider selection of sound transducers available for gaming now.

"throne" must have a different meaning in the USA, I've got two but they're porcelain, not pearl!
