Select outside Views goes to Top-Down view only

Recommended Posts

Hi.

I don't know if it was an update or something I did but after Sunday morning If i select Outside it goes to the default Top-Down view.

I did uninstall EZDOK as this was coming up in the menu description. but I think I did that before i had the issue.

Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

Pete.

Hi thanks for the reply.

I have tried a reinstall but to no avail.

I'll link my camera CFG if that is any help.

I'll try with another user profile.

Pete.

I had this same problem. Kevin emailed and suggested to go to VFXCentral into preferences and the registry editor. Have a look to see if anything is out of the ordinary like the path or another sim. In my case fsx was selected as well even though I dont have fsx. deleted it , rebooted. When CP restarted it noticed things werent right and it said it made corrections. All was good after that.

Can you send me a screenshot of your VFXCentral > Preferences > Registry Editor page?

Brilliant thanks so much guys.

It was the FSX Entry!

I did look at an earlier post about this which i guess was HighTowers but did not understand the resolution.

Here is a link to the screen shot of the what I did have set in VFXCentral > Preferences > Registry Editor page , I'm not sure how long the link will stay for others that may read this looking for help.

But from the I did have an Entry for FSX.

Once removed I started P3D, I got a message from ChasePlane saying there was a corruption in P3D (I did not read the full message unfortunately) but ChasePlane said it fixed it and to re-start P3D which I did and it is working again.!

Thanks you so much.

Thanks once again for the very quick replies!!.

Pete.
