Keyboard Keys dont respond

Ok so I have the Keyboard (Great Keyboard BTW, I'll be keeping it).

 

The bad news is that I haven't been able to reproduce the issue. 

The good news is that I'm more determined than ever to find and resolve this issue.

 

Here's what I need from everyone having this issue:

  1. Windows version with the date of the last update to the system
  2. The highest version of Microsoft .NET Framework you can find in your Windows Control Panel
  3. The highest version of Microsoft Visual C++ you can find in your Windows Control Panel
  4. If installing SlimDX End User Runtime fixed the issue (https://slimdx.org/download.php download the x86 .NET 4.0 version)

Hey Keven!

 

So I am also one with keyboard issues, I experience to a disconnect and my keyboard don't respond. I can reconnect the USB and then it works, then a few minutes later it does the same. Some times this also happens out the blue even when not playing with P3D/Chaseplane. But in general I exerience this every few minutes, some times even longer between the "seizures".

 

extra note: My HDD drive nuked it self 7 days ago, so I am on a new SSD and still experience this issue.

 

I have:

- (A cheap) Arrogant ###### Tornado - keyboard (and yest that is unfortunately the name hehe).

 

- Windows 7 Pro (64bit) Version 6.1 (build 7601:SP1)

 

- Microsoft .net Framework 4.6.2

 

- Microsoft Visual C++ 14.0.23026

 

I dont know, since I run 64bit, if I also should try out your question number 4. :-)

 

As the rest I really appreciate the help and what you goes do for us! THANKS!

I have the same issues loosing keyboard

 

- logitech G110

 

- Windows 10 Home (64bit) Version 1607 (build 14393.576)

Looks like I spoke too soon. V 1.097 is a total disaster! 1 step forward 2 steps back. Keyboard problems back again. I've lost all my presets and my saved views can't be saved to the hat. I'm getting tired of spending more time trying to sort out this program than actually flying! Hope you can get a grip on these issues soon.

Try enabling Experimental Versions in ChasePlane's Preferences to go to Alpha 1.5.

0.1.97 will not receive any more updates.

I have the 1.580 version in P3D and keyboard problem is still there. Any idea of a fix. Do you know what the problem is?

Hey. Same Issue but I found a fix.

 

Download and install and run the CUE Software from Corsair.

And on the left hand side, you would find firmware update.

Just update the k70 firmware to the latest and the issue is gone.
