South/North Pole issues in FSX fixed in P3D

Recommended Posts

Hello,

As I know, the south pole and north pole in FSX are bad. But I fly there a lot and I am considering buying P3D. My question is: are the issues about the poles fixed in P3D? Is NZSP there?

I have not done pole overflights, but I've done flights above 86N without issues with the P3D simulator.

NZSP exists as a default airport, I had to try it because I've never had an interest in Antarctica before.  The "airport" elevations look like Vector needs as adjustment in my configuration, but it is there.

I don't know what issues FSX had and you're not very specific so I cannot say if those issues are resolved.

If you're talking about vertical cloud structures in the northern latitudes, AS16 has those fixed.

No, it is not fixed. The are still terrain distortions and, at least with ASN, weird clouds.
