Multi Monitor use

Question

Hello

I have used Microsoft flightsim's from the early days to FSX and now Prepar3D for the last few years

have been keeping abreast of FlightGear for many years without ever trying it out

I have looked at the latest video's on youtube of FlightGear-2016 and they looked great

I presently run with four monitors  two 28 inch 4K2K and two 22inch monitors

I have two 980's video cards

I have read the FlightGear Multimon.pdf

can anyone tell me if the program allows popup windows and if they can be moved like in FSX or Prepar3d

The way I now use my monitors is I run the VC from the two 28 inch monitors and use the two 22 inch

monitors for popup windows like gauges and moving maps etc etc

Thanks

Tony

Hi Tony,

I haven't ever used multi monitor with FlightGear, but I just want to let you know that you could probably read about it and/or ask questions at the FlightGear forum as well as at the development mailing list, links below:

http://forum.flightgear.org

http://sourceforge.net/p/flightgear/mailman/flightgear-devel/

Those are probably your best resources when it comes to hardware or technical questions concerning FG.

Take care!
Gilberto
