Autobrake - Disarms upon landing setting 2 and below

Recommended Posts

Ohh, i know, archi discussed ghost....

I revised several threads around and around.   All talking about calibration issues.

Is it possible that 100% of the times during tests, using position 1 and 2 the autobrake disarms,  and 100% of times i use position 3 and max, the autobrake works perfectly? :fool:    Ive been flightsimming for more than 14 years, and first time i see this one.  I just updated to a better PC and i discovered this new issue.

Ive checked:

- Brakes are calibrated through P3D, not FSUIPC

- Made sure ive not brakes assigment through fsuipc in either way

- Not pushing pedals on touchdown.  Ive even tried long roll touchdown before attempting to activate the reversers(moment that triggers the disarm bug...)

- My controls are not causing spikes at all.   Ive even cleaned them all and are working like new

- No other controls interference through P3D / FSUIPC

Any other clue?

Thanks in advance...

Well, solved!

Indeed, my FSUIPC was keeping config for brakes, and my P3D too.   I just removed them all..... Not P3D Braking, Not FSUIPC calibration, and works perfectly.    Bet i will get to a happy medium around that.   Very strange about the position coincidence... :fool:

Hope to help any other flightsimmer with the same problem

Yes. The disarm function in the sim (and in the real plane) is that you have to put more pressure on the brakes than the system if providing. So, if your calibration is messed up, or your hardware is sending spikes greater than the force currently on the brakes... *disarm.*
