A bit of PNG bushflying

Recommended Posts

I haven’t been here for some time. And as I finally managed to get the FS9 Let 410 to work in P3D 3.4 with an appropriate PNG texture, I did a flight from Kokoda to Yongai. Great fun!!

Luckily the weather went as quickly as it came. Yongai comes into sight

I haven’t landed here for ages, so let’s better check out the place first

Marvelous scenery and location....love the natural lighting....Microsoft Flight was just like that flying cargo from short dirt runways!

Bernd, love the natural skies/lighting. May I ask the texture set and PTA settings you use?

Thanks a lot for your kind comments, gents

Brendan, I use Pe11e's Ultimate Realism pack with PTA. You can find them here:

http://www.avsim.com/topic/495511-ultimate-realism-pack-v095/

Only my HDR settings are a bit different:

Brightness: 0,85

Bloom: 1,00

Saturation: 0,80

My sky textures are REX Essential Plus

I've tweaked and tried a lot, but this setting is the one that I am really happy with

Hi Bernd,

good to know that you can use the L-410 within P3D.

But where did you get that very nice repaint?

Great pictures by the way. Plane, landscape, wheather - this is real flying.

Thanks Harald, the LET really is a great plane to fly, also in the real world

The textures you can find over at flightsim. Look for:

ticosim_nature_air_let410.zip

They come with a Costa Rican registration. I took the liberty and changed them for my purpose. That is why I will not upload them here, because they are not mine
