New Multi Crew Experience version released

Recommended Posts

To all crew members.

MCE V2.6.8.7 has been released.

Who should upgrade?

Anyone who uses MCE with GSX, PF3 ATC, flies Majestic Q400 or is on an older version than V2.6.8.0 should upgrade.

Download link: http://www.multicrewxp.com/Downloads.html

There will be a major update next month, with support for FsLabs A320 on the way.

Happy flying

Procedure always the same.

Un-install previous version via Windows Control Panel, add-remove programs.

DO NOT manually delete \Multi Crew Experience\ installation folder as your existing key and installed additional voice packs remain there.

Download latest version, unzip and run "InstallMCE".

Should be all you need to do.

If experiencing any issues, first thing to do is restore MCE to factory settings.

Start->All Apps->Multi Crew Experience->Tools->Restore factory settings.

Thanks Gerald, clearing cache in Chrome helped.

One question: you mention to upgrade if one flies the Majestic Q400.

Could you give an idea as to what has been changed in relation to the Q400 specifically?

Cheers,

Stuart

Just to say I've installed the new version and have flown the PMDG 747 EGCC to EGKK without a problem.

How many other developers offer one to one support from the programmer and free updates for life?

Left side MFD screen switching only worked for one position. Now works as expected.

FO wasn't setting condition levers with commands such as "engine one to start and feather" or "both engines to start and feather".

+1

With the latest version, on P3dv3.4, GSX window functions are spot on!

For example, command " mechanic push back to the left (right) please". The full flow completes with GSX menus progressing through to the question from mechanic, "begin push back with engines on/off"? You then verbally confirm yes or no and mechanic responds. You may then either start before push back or begin push back and then start engines.

If you are starting the Dash 8, then its multiple choice! Start #2 on GPU, then ask mechanic to disconnect GPU, (which he does by clever manipulation of our right hand FMC menu) then continue push back whilst starting #1 or start both during push back with APU running!

Truly a work of art and as real as it gets. Brilliant!

Happy simming

David
