The GNS 530/430 as it is right now is not compatible nor sold for Win8/Win10, only WinXP, Vista and Win7. It was designed prior Win8 release and cannot be made compatible with it.

However, we are working on a new GNS WAAS simulation product, written from scratch and compatible with 64-bit OS, 64-bit sim (X-Plane for now) and all major flight simulators.

Hopefully, it shouldn't be long before you hear more about this new gem...

I'd suggest you hold off purchasing extra hardware and our older GNS WAAS then, and just wait a little. Like I've said, "shouldn't be long", means it counts in weeks if not days...
