Snow Effect files?

Recommended Posts

Just a very quick question about which files contain the rain and snow effects of FSX? I use DX10 with Steves Fixer and noticed I can adjust the rain brightness but not the snow effect. It looks fine during day, but its not visible during the night.

thanks in advance :)

The brightness of these effects is controlled by the shaders, so unless you're adept in editing those, you'll have to ask Steve if he could make snow brightness adjustable.

Ok thanks for now :)

I found out that the slider provided in the DX10 options actually controls both rain and snow. Unfortunately the "slow snow" Option doesnt seem to change anything for me.
