Lufthansa 747 you say?

Recommended Posts

I can't imagine myself not wanting to paint Lufthansa on the 747, so here she is on the iFly version.  As soon as PMDG releases their 747, it will get these textures as well.

Still a lot of work to do, but she's presentable enough for the Pavarotti to get a few shots of her before I push her back into the paint hangar.

And she took a quick lap around EDDF before I put her back in the hangar. :)

Let me what you guys think.

How is the iFly version?  How's performance compared to the NGX?

Thanks guys!

Greg, I have no performance issues with the iFly 747.  I don't fly the NGX much but I'd say comparable performance wise (This is on my machine, as always, you'll hear differing opinions on performance, system fidelity, model accuracy, etc.  I tend to not let that influence my decision much, especially when buying through Flight1 where you have 30 days to wring her out on your system and decide for yourself.)  (I have a 4790K at 4.4, 16gb ram, and a 970 video card running just under 4k on a 55" 4k TV).

Hey Tim, as soon as PMDG let's us have it...all my iFly 747 paints and PMDG 777F paints will make their way on to their Queen.

I got the right side done now as well.  Just need to do the engines, wings and winglets and I'll upload her for you guys to fly.

Thanks guys!  I hope to be taking her to EDDF this weekend, you guys (who have the iFly 747) should be able to fly her as well.

Looks great Steve. I have the iFly 747 and will be looking forward to this.
The retro livery looks beautiful too.

Thanks Samaritano.  Oh yes....I will be putting that one on the -8 when she's released.  For some reason I think the PMDG painter will also include it in his initial -8 releases....its just too pretty not to (and sadly there are not many -8 operators out there.)
