How to pan and scroll smoothly

Recommended Posts

SInce I reinstalled FSX and P3D I'm not able to pan or scroll smoothly in the virtual cockpit..I have great FPS but when panning with the mouse/hat switch or scrolling with the middle mouse button or keyboard, it is jerky. I didn't have this issue before I reinstalled so I am guessing it is something in my configuration.

Looking for help.

Thanks.

Are you just using the default view commands to control the movement? Such as hat switch on your yoke hot keyed, etc.? Or are you using some sort of camera system?

Yes, I failed to mention I have EZDok. I figured it out by actually reading the manual.

That's always been an issue for me as well. Short of Track IR or using the space bar/mouse panning, I could never get it really smooth with the hat switch.

Not sure if it applies in your case, but I found it was smoothest when defined in the FSX controls section.

Other than my Cessna trim wheel, the hat switch is the only control function I don't have defined in FSUIPC4.
