Camera editing 2nd problem.

Recommended Posts

For some reason I am unable to adjust via Pitch Bank or Yaw.

Any reason why?

Need more information. What sim type? What OpusFSI version?

Check you have specified correct sim type etc. Check correct sim type is reported in Spy.

Do LCC adjustments work? Make sure you are in a correct view mode (VC etc..) as not all modes can be adjusted.

As I mentioned in another post, OpusFSI has nothing at all to do with OR.

OpusFSI DHM adjusts the eye point using SimConnect 6DOF requests.

FSX SE adjusts the displayed VC view.

OR renders that view onto the VR device.

These are all completely separate activities.

If you can see the DHM effects without the OR device then its working and is configured fine. After that the rest is down to the OR software.

Stephen :-)

P.S. I have to assume you have the most recent OpusFSI Release version 4.73 installed.

Stephen. Read the first post please. Nothing to do with DHM.

On a side note. How do I install latest version?

Too many posts ... just download the latest OpusFSI.msi, uninstall, then install the msi.

Yes I can move forward back up down but cannot turn my head around. Bit annoying. Yes I'm in VC mode.

Explain how are you moving the eye point ? As there are no known problems with the software and if the XYZ translations work in LCC and camera editing then so should the rotation axes.

Are you using the LCC arrow keys in its dialog? Have you got an OpusFSI camera view you created on the display ? Remember only certain view modes can be controlled so select one of your opus VC camera views. But you wouldn't have been able to even edit the camera view without the eye point control.

Stephen

You can email me your cam file and I will take a look at your Config then assign some working keys etc..

Explain how are you moving the eye point ? By adjusting in the camera editing dialogue.

All left hand arrows work but none on the right hand.

Probably best to first upgrade to the latest OpusFSI.msi release version. Then we'll both be using the same software. Can you email me your CAM file located in your OpusFSI folder, I will load that tomorrow and get back to you after I've had a look at it.
