14 hour flight from Kuala Lumpur to LAX, image speaks for itself. 1.38GB free running Vector, Every ORBX region, FSDT KLAX, lots and i mean LOTS of airports in the way, 4096 pixel textures, PMDG777, REX textures, AS2016, you name it. I still don't get where there are VAS issues with current P3D.

 

Probably some trafficAI packages which i don't use (i fly on IVAO exclusively) or maybe some other addon which leaks memory?

I wrote it myself for my VA. We do have a simpler VAS tool which only monitors VAS.

 

I was going to improve it with a graphic showing memory usage during a flight, but P3D has become so effective in memory management that i simply stopped caring about it and gave up on the idea.

So, now only thing remaining is to have that FSLabs A320 in P3D :-)

Oh how my hands are twitching to reach into my pocket and pull out my cc to get xp11.

But i think p3d has something up their sleeve.

And also the lack of addons for xp11 is stoppong me from ditching p3d

Thou the blurried in distance due to LOD radius really kills the immersion for me

Just like you couldn't resist and using xp11 Demo, love it wish it was 20/30 mins long though, sure it is full of bugs..Beta!!!!...what do we expect. Needs a decent Airbus for sure JAR just does not cut it even against the AS one..and that is what may make me tip back to P3D only.

 

At present all my FSims are uninstalled only used P3D for a month trial it was great, and performance was great too...but I don't know something is lacking, maybe it is just that I have never used XP before but the lighting, sloped runways etc are very good...but man it need work!  I just cannot commit to anything at present do not want to spend 60 bucks here and 60 bucks there and  think P3D may do something...who knows! there a secretive lot!!

Ya!! It wouldnt be so sad if all those addons for fsx and p3d were on xp11.
