Cessna 172 prop disc XP11

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

Not sure if this question should be here or in the design forum, so sorry if it's in the wrong spot.

Does anyone know how to easily modify the prop disc to get rid of the red bands? I find this extremely unrealistic. I've reported it as a bug, but I doubt it will be a priority.

I tried monkeying around in GIMP and had some marginal success, but I only end up with a slightly less annoying visual.

This is in fact a question for the Paintersforum, though you are moving in the right direction.

Editing the prop file in a paintingprogram is the solution.

AFNavarro did it for us  http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/files/file/34960-textures-3d-propellers-xp-1050/

This was made for XP10>,  but this feature was added to XP10 as an experimental preview for XP11.

This is what you need, I think.

If not, contact me at the paintersforum and it will be sorted out there.

Cheers

Leen
