Xenviro Over the Canadian Rockies - X-Plane 11

Recommended Posts

I couldn't resist the purchase despite the price. So far its really great and incredible performance!! I took off in a snowstorm at Calgary International and then the weather cleared over the Rockies...

Theres a temp fix but you have to download dataref plugin and change a fog line of text the number 1.5  to 0 every time you start sim - not on sim pc but search around its here in xp general discussion you will have to dig it was a long thread

You can also put the fog fix in a lua script and it will load automatically with the sim.

I have a lua script with two entries:

set ("sim/private/controls/dome/kill_glares", 1.0)
set ("sim/private/controls/fog/std_deviation_cutoff", 0.0)

The first entry kills the banding, not needed if you only use XEnviro because it takes care of that.

The other is the fog fix, supposedly only needed at dusk (and maybe dawn?). I'll keep it for the moment.

You can copy both (or one) line into a text file and save as whateveryoulikeit.lua. Then paste this file into the /ressources/plugins/FlyWithLua/Scripts folder.

Let me know if it works.

You mean the original FlyWithLua Scripts? You can move all of the default ones into the Scripts(disabled) folder. Just keep the ones you are using in the Scripts folder.
