we have no PMDG 737, 747, or T7 or FSL or Aerosoft Airbus?

Hi Jim,

a single plane, the IXEG 737, brought me from p3d to x-plane 10. Man, this is an incredible immersive aircraft. I watched the videos at their youtube channel and immediately bought it. Version 1.1 is in development. Btw.: Since then, the only thing I used from p3d was the uninstaller.

Thank you All - you need to try XP11 - hard for pics to do it justice - going into snow in VC is like space warp (not until your moving - at rest pretty cool) so could use a bit of toning down - xenviro is a wip so not judging until it Laminar does Their thing

Great pictures! I highly reccomend Slava's seasonal textures:http://forum.simrussia.com/index.php?/topic/208-%D1%81%D0%B5%D0%B7%D0%BE%D0%BD%D0%BD%D1%8B%D0%B5-%D1%82%D0%B5%D0%BA%D1%81%D1%82%D1%83%D1%80%D1%8B-xp-10/ They're incredibly easy to use, just drag/drop into the Custom Scenery folder, and look great. I can't fly in winter without them anymore. They aren't dynamic like ShePooley's script, but that script isn't perfect so I prefer doing it manually. You can edit the regions that experience snow via a png file in the package.

The pictures don't really do it justice. Trust me, it looks amazing when you see it in the sim

Nice shots Rich!

Not in 11.0, but Ben and Austin have talked about doing shader based seasons in the future, which would allow for snow to build up and melt, display over orthos, etc. They haven't given any timeline though.

Tom, thanks for the info.

Just checked the IXEG site and while it's a nice little looking plane, I'm more into the 737 NG's, 800's mostly.

Thank you for the video.

...while the dev. talks about seasons, one can see these incredible good looking clouds. They look almost real.

Kind regards

Tom
