Austria West HD

Recommended Posts

In August 2016 we were told that a release of this scenery was imminent, then we heard that there will be a delay of a few days. Since then no further communication. If one sent the developer a question about the release date, one did not get any answer, nothing. Now, in early December 2016, it finally became available. From a marketing point of view, a complete, utter nightmare!! If it will not sell well, the developer can only blame one person: himself. And at €52 it is also quite pricy. On top, it comes with just one season. Three very valid reasons NOT to buy it. Why did I buy it? Because of this:

Yes the final piece of Western Europe...fly from Vienna to Lisbon in high resolution photoscenery....blended scenery has spectacular color and texture...great looking sky in those scenes...scenery making not profitable but nationalistic pride!

Niiiice! You can't beat hi-def photoscenery on natural landscapes.

Looks really great!

What are your experiences with FlyTampa Vienna, JustSim Klagenfurt and Linz, Digitaldesign Salzburg and FSDG Graz? Are they compatible with Austrian HD?

Unfortunately I can't tell, because I have none of them. But I trust that the developer of Austria HD has made sure that his product is compatible with all of them. I remember that at one point he said that the product will be delayed because some new airports have been introduced that he needs to adjust his scenery to.

Sorry to sound clueless, but WHO is the developer?  I looked through the posts twice and there was no mention of who is selling this.

bernd,

I am in the same boat. Considering the purchase, but scared by the price.

Looking at the second shot, I was wondering if you happen to have Digital Design LOWS and, if yes, how does this blend with Austria HD West. It also includes a nice photoscenery of Salzburg city and "Festung" and I am wondering if they somehow overlap or create any elevation problem.

Still on the fence, then. Incidentally, you have by far the best clouds I have ever seen in any ESP-based product for years.
