question not found in help manual

I am new to the PTA tool and I have a question that is not mentioned in the help section, do I need to restart P3D in order to see the changes that I make to a preset?  I cannot really see any changes when I make changes to a preset but I'm not moving the sliders very much so I'm not sure if I'm doing any good or not.

Edit: Well its 15 minutes later and I can definitely can say that I need to read the manual closer.  I FOUND IT!  DUH!!!!
