XP11 night landing on an island in the Carib...

Really like the night lighting of XP. Cool shots.

Cool shots, which island airport?

To be honest, I can't really tell you....I was flying around a few islands, and then wanted to try a difficult approach at night, that has you descend over the crest of a hill...and then a rather steep fast descent to the threshold. I advanced the time to night ops...and did a downwind from the right, left sweep over the hill to final, and the rest is history.  Had me holding my breath, though! :)

The pictures in my other recent post (A cold and blustery day), at the end, shoots the island in the daytime. That might give you some sort of hint...:)

Mitch, that's hilarious. You are really an enthusiast pilot. Please switch the daylight back on, slew up and tell us where you landed,

Not for me, not familiar enough with all of the islands.

PS: Are you still happy with your SMP3 clouds?

"Hey Hans, ..LOL...at least I am honest...h*ll if I know where I was...LOL...but the scenery and island hoppin'...was LOTS OF FUN!  :)))))))  LOLOLOL!"

About the clouds, actually yes.  I think they look good..but of course, want SMP4, that will be written to XP11's best use thereof.   For now, though...yeppers...SMP3 is doing the job.  Waiting though...for the SMP4 upgrade path....
