ORBX XP11: What are your predictions?

Recommended Posts

The Xplane mesh seems to be more in depth.

At least it is more effective, because in flat areas the mesh has less triangles, but where they are needed (in mountainious areas) there are more. alpilotx may have written already some more details somewhere, but now as he is out in the real mountains, it may take some time until he chimes in .

Well, I do have internet and read every now or then .... but I wont write detailed texts on an iPad :)

At least on mesh, I once had a very detailed in-depth (gory tech details) write up on the german simflight.de site. You might try reading it with translate (and check out the many illustrations):

Andras, go away and enjoy new year in the mountains ;-)

BTW, brilliant article, enjoyed reading it. It must have taken a long time to put those images together

Probably more personal than financial...Orbx did take a ribbing for their X-Plane announcement.

Definitely this considering they will keep developing for AFS2 which had about 31 average players in December.

Looks like there won't be any ORBX products for XP11 next year. Closing topic.
