Flight Toolkit 1.1.30

Recommended Posts

Can a few of you try out this release?  http://www.flighttoolkit.com/Downloads/FlightToolkit_1_1_30.zip

There are a bunch of changes that I made quite a while ago, so I'm not sure if something may have broken.  The main fix here is some changes to the installer, and the Non-GFWL to fix issues people have been having when they are using Flight on a PC for the first time.

Tested both my lap top and desk top, seems to install and works fine. Tested official and non GFWL. Haven't convert any scenery or installed new planes and re-paints with it yet though.

On a new W10 rig I did not succeed installing Flight Toolkit v1.1.28 but v1.1.30 installed fine and DL all content.

So it came just in time!

My 1.1.31 setup is working so I don't want to mess with it.  However, does rerunning the Conversion buy you anything under 1.1.31 ??  If so I would want to re-Convert.

The  FSX conversion crashes in version 1.1.30 and 1.1.31

I have the same problem, new pc so reinstalled everything with 1.1.31 just fine but fails converting fsx scenerey at the exact same point with same error listed.

Guess im gonna install an older version to convert.

kk well for me it was likely some Orbx files leftover after i uninstalled the addons, didnt realize this till i un installed fsx and found a bunch of leftover files in default dir's

I had already installed v1.1.28 ver before i figured it out tho so cant say if v1.1.31 works or not now as i've already re installed the addons. The conversion went of correctly with v1.1.28 and default only scenery.

No i think the failure was on a FSX file.  I have fixed it, but I still need to test a couple things to try to make sure I haven't broken anything else before releasing.

Starting with a new file, FT 32 conversion works fine. At the end of the log file, 66 GUID wrong or missing! Run a second time, only 3 GUID missing.

But as with the previous versions, MF crashes when I want to flight over some places i.e. Paris-France. It is a little bit frustrating. Anyway thank you again for your great job.

As Edmond wrote, run a second time and only 3 GUIDs missing. I do not have the crashing over Paris. Conversion seems fine to me. :)
