Activating and Deactivating Scenery

All,

 

Loving P3d and have done for some time. Is anyone else activating each airport scenery when used and deactivating it; then running vector each time or is P3D ok with VAS management not to require it any more. Its fairly annoying having to set the sim up for around half an hour prior to flying?

Sim starter or SimLauncherX..... but overkill for your little 30 minute jaunts...

+1  I use SCE all the time, and enable only those scenery areas expected to be needed for a particular flight.  This (freeware) program makes managing that really easy.

 

FWIW the latest version has options specifically for P3D as well.

I've over 200 scenery addons and have read that photoscenery components will consume VAS if you fly over them, hence I only activate the airports I need.  SCE also provides for very quick and efficient scenery organization.
