Aircraft strobes in V3.2

Recommended Posts

I noticed a number of my aircraft suddenly not displaying their strobe or beacon effects after installing Build 98 of the fixer over Build 96.  I noticed this primarily with Carenado/Alabeo aircraft, but also with an aircraft using a custom strobe effect I made.  I uninstalled and re-installed, and used the library update feature to confirm this issue.  I then reverted to Build 96 and all was well again.  I can't say if other effects were affected because my test wasn't thorough enough.  Let me know if further information is required.

Can you update to build 98 again (don't uninstall - just install over the top). When you update the libraries be sure to select the correct effects options and then report back.

There is no logic in the fixer specific to types of lights, all effect lights appear the same so unless effects were unconverted then I cannot see how what could have caused this.

(Note that I have looked at lots of aircraft with 3.2 including the Carenado CR206 and can see no issues)

Actually thinking about this - are these old FS9 Carenado/Alebdo aircraft by any chance - the legacy logic did change substantially in 3.2

No, recent... King Air 350i and Conquest.  I'll have some time later tonight.  Will report back.
