SERIOUS CREDIT CARD SCAM NOW HAPPENING....

When this was first posted, I sent email to the address given in the "email" for Randy Ward, expecting it to be undeliverable. Just got this reply from constable Ward... "We have not had this scam here but we have had people that have called and tried to get credit card numbers through similar means. The basics of the information is never give out your credit card number unless you know who your giving it to. Credit Card companies have your information, why would they be asking you for it? Secondly never give out your pin# for your debt card. We have had incidents where subjects have stolen wallets and purses and called back to the victim saying they were police officers. They then ask for their pin # for identification. The police would never ask you for your pin # It's a fraud. Be wary of unsolicited telephone calls!!Please don't forward the email with my name on it as I am getting hundreds of emails on the subject.!!"That last sentence was in very bold text.
