Official PMDG liveries are downloaded through the Operations Center that was installed together with the airplane. Unofficial liveries can be downloaded from the Avsim file library. These are then installed using the Operations Center as well.

A few days ago CargoLogicAir (CLU), a child company of Volga Dnepr Group, have received their third Boeing 747 aircraft, G-CLBA, which is a 747-428F(ER) equipped with CF6-80C2B5F engines. Apart from this newcomer, the fleet consists of G-CLAA (-400F) and G-CLAB (-8F). Their main base is London-Stansted.

When you say you have no liveries showing in the Operations Centre, when you go to livery downloader what is there?

I have livery downloader in the op center for my 737 and 777 aircraft but none for  the 747 -400

I select FSX pmdg 747 v 3

Im not sure I have v3 for 747-400

I don't believe you do. I don't think we have a DVD version of Version 3. You likely have the older version, such as Version 2.

Version 2 is not supported by the Operations Center. Liveries for it were available from our website, but are no longer offered there. You should be able to find them on AVSIM's file library. I just searched and found several. Just be sure they are for your version.
