HI Aime, I used your textures in the past, they were outstanding.  I'm really not sure what your new offering is really.

I have P3Dv3 and Orbx land textures almost all their products.

What exactly is this texture package?  How does it relate to Orbx work?  Is there any more documentation on its use?

Hi Bryan, these textures replace Rock, Forest, Desert, Grassland, pastures, Interzone (between rock and forest) (in fact all natural zones) with autogen reworked. All around the World and all seasons.

As asked by someone, it's compatible with orbx Global base pack. (Of cause remplace many orbx textures but not affect cities, villages and 3D lights). Don't affect Orbx region products.

TERRA EMERGENCE PROJECT v1

for FSX-P3D

What is it?

TEP is a set of ground textures enhancement for Flight Simulator X & Prepa3d.

TEP takes again the whole world over the 4 seasons plus the rigorous winter (in FS, 5 seasons ago!).

Can be used alone on fresh FSX/P3D install or on other global addon products.

These textures represent all natural zones visible around the world:

Rocks, mountain pastures, plains, deserts, marsh (with effects of water), forests, tundra, savannah,

glacier and snows, coral, hardened lava, yellow sand, white sand, black sand plus surfaces around certain airfields.

The other zones of the world are automatically merged with the TEP textures.

That is to say more than 500 autogen files + 3700 textures with more 2Gb of data.

How it works?

Textures of TEP replace those of FSX/P3D by new textures, in particular, those which have a desert aspect,

while them returning more coloured and detailed. They were carried out on the basis of photograph taken in

different part of the world.

TEP is an enormous work which took 3 years to develop all these textures.

TEP makes it possible to improve returned FSX/P3D appreciably.

What is NOT?

TEP don't replace cities, villages and urban zones.

TEP don't repalce water textures.

It's not a mesh.

Don't replace vector roads like Golbal vector or other products.

Read readme file for installation procedure.

Thank you.

I have just a few Orbx region packs... what is the best way to install this for P3D?  Will it overwrite the Orbx region textures?

edit:  Sorry, rookie mistake.  I see the README file in the zip!

Got it!

Hi Ryan,

Because Orbx region use other folders, TEP doesn't affect them.

Hello,

I found that your textures are in .bmp and they work great , Thanks

In P3D v4.1 the standard seams to be .dds.

May I convert the textures to .dds and have the same good result?

Thanks in advance
