737 and 64bit P3D

Recommended Posts

Dear PMDG,

apologies if this has been asked before but I did a search and didnt get a clear answer.

If ( and we all know its a big if ) Lockheed Martin releases a 64bit version of P3D in 2017, will PMDG then support the 737 in the 64bit version as stated with the 777 ?

Thank you in advance, and thank you for a great product line for the flight sim community.

Merry xmas and happy new year.

Best regards

When the 777 was released for P3d last year, Randazzo said that any updates that will be required for the P3d software will be free of charge and that they plan on supporting them when that time comes.

From a post a while back (08FEB15):

"Some have expressed concern about forward compatibility with LM version changes.  We have already indicated that our current product licensing will carry you through at least v3.x and x64bit conversion, which we anticipate taking place in v3.x... based on publicly available information.)  I am unable to predict what will happen beyond this, but at that point we are likely a good 2 years out and we will evaluate what is fair for the marketplace at that time."
