I have been using Asus GPU tweak for approx 12 mths to shut down unnecessary programs,which from what I understand is what MS are proposing to do in there gaming mode,by clicking on gaming mode in Asus GPU Tweak it automatically shuts down 24 processes, before I start P3d,before that I used a Program called I believe Aclarity which was really good you could just about shut off the lights with that one,but I am  not sure if it works with win10 ,you would be amazed what you PC is doing whilst you try to achieve smooth flight and 30fps
