Anyone else having this problem with baggage trucks.

Recommended Posts

On some aircraft, mostly FS9 aircraft redone for FSX, The baggage truck seems to be convinced that the luggage is in the aircraft's tail and desperately tries to get its conveyor up there.

Freight doors are open but are ignored.

Model problem maybe?

Seems like the baggage cart does not knowmwhere the cargo doors are. How do

The [exits] look in the aircraft.cfg?

No, I suppose I could try and set it up using coordinates from a similarly-sized aircraft and then fine-tune them.

..... (But I think I'll just wait until someone comes up with a little utility that does just that,)

No harm in looking at the default 737 perhaps?

Even though the fuselage is longer.

[exits]

number_of_exits = 2
exit.0 = 0.4,  36.6, -5.0,  3.0, 0   //openclose rate percent per second, longitudinal, lateral, vertical positions from datum (feet), type (0=Main 1=Cargo 2=Emergency)
exit.1 = 0.4, -38.5,  4.5, -3.0, 1   //openclose rate percent per second, longitudinal, lateral, vertical positions from datum (feet), type (0=Main 1=Cargo 2=Emergency)
exit.2 = 0.4,  33.5,  3.5, -4.0, 2   //openclose rate percent per second, longitudinal, lateral, vertical positions from datum (feet), type (0=Main 1=Cargo 2=Emergency)

I don't think it has anything at all to do with the aircraft.

I've seen the baggage conveyors running around airports with the belts sticking straight up like that a bunch of times. I'm sure mine still does it, but I bought GSX and turned airport vehicle traffic off.
