Reality XP GNS 530W/430W V2 Released!

Recommended Posts

True, but those wrapper functions would still have the same end result of a 'sim/GPS/...' command being called, wouldn't they? Otherwise the X-Plane GPS wouldn't know that a button was ever pressed in the first place?

Yes, that's true. I guess it would work.

The PFC 430W requires purchasing the Reality XP GNS WAAS Hardware Driver. It is a single purchase valid both with our X-Plane and FlightSim gauges. Customers having purchased it already for our older GNS don't need to purchase it again either.

However, although we support our driver in our GNS plugins/gauges, you have to make sure the PFC 430W hardware is officially supported on X-Plane 11.

Yes, looking as good as the 172 mod. Bluebell, would you mind sharing the one for the 429 with us as well?

Will existing GNS WAAS Hardware Driver run in 64bit? Or will I need to update the driver (if available)?

The hardware driver relies on a PFC DLL which is 32 bits only for now. We are still waiting for PFC to catch up and send us a 64 bits version. As soon as they provide one, this should work if not right away, once we make the necessary adjustments for their new DLL.

@russgreen you might want to read the topic pinned right above the one you've just posted into, which is named "Undocking window in X-Plane 11"
