Having to reload LUA if I start a new flight

Recommended Posts

This seems like a new thing since I downloaded the latest.  If I start or restart a flight, I have to reload LUA.  Nothing works until I do.

To clarify, it loads fine when I start my sim up.  But if I then load another flight or restart a flight I have to reload LUA.

Please confirm this is with 2.8.7. This was an issue in 2.8.6 but i hoped i had fixed it.

Yes, 2.8.7; sometimes it works when I start P3D up, at other times not, and so I have to Reload LUA.

When you say load another flight, what actions are your doing? Is this a previous starting point or just a change of aircraft? I need to pin down the precise conditions to identify where the error is.

Seems like it happens if I do any sort of reset.

  • Switching to another airplane where I am
  • Loading a new scenario whether or not it's the same airplane
  • Loading the same scenario via Scenario->Load.

I hope that helps.

PS Since I installed the latest 737NGX version, everything is back working as normal.

Except, unfortunately, for the doors, which don't respond to any GSX activity.
