That's what I like most about the LR team. They do acknowledge if they screw up and fix it asap. Looking forward to pb5 now. And the moon and the stars of course.  :rolleyes:

What exact file or files do I save if I want to keep my controller settings when updating xplane?

 

I don't think user configuration files are overwritten since they're not part of the install but are generated at run-time.

A barmy -11'C here tonight  :smile: . Still running Beta 4 here and took it for a spin on my old Mac OS computer. I could be mistaken (and I am often), but it seems the haze has been tamed down a bit.

After PB2 it did not wipe out your settings anymore

I believe the file you need to back up (just in case) is \X-Plane 11\Output\preferences\Joystick Settings.prf

Yes, you can make a copy of the preferences folder and keep it temporarily, just in case.
