P3D crash when trying to load a saved PMDG 737-800 Scenario,

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Hope someone can assist/help me regarding my issue after a complete new win10/64 install on my computer.

P3D crash(CTD) when trying to load a saved PMDG 737-800 Scenario, no error message in P3D ...just crash

and "drop" to my desktop momentary!

To Info:

- complete new win10/64 computer installed.

- Complete new P3D installed v3.4.18.19475.

- Complete new download from my PMDG account and installed latest 737-800 sw from developer.

- No other addons than ORBX and fsuicp installed.

- follow the readme.txt from the PMDG during 737-base install sw.

- follow the http://support.precisionmanuals.com/kb/a112/important-and-nearly-foolproof-steps-to-running-your-pmdg-product-in-prepar3d-v3.aspx

- installed pmdg operation center, and let it verify I had latest pmdg sw install. It confirmed "Your product is currently up to date!"

- no other flightsim installed, like fsx/FSX-steam..

- uac is completely disable

- run p3d/pmdg center as administrator

- P3D and all addons installed on dedicate hard-drive and all virusscan(both inline/path) disabled for these folders.

What I do to "make" P3D crash!

-  load up a pmdg 737-800-wl with default livery according to link above, works fine.

-  Then I save the scenario, and called it "Pmdg_737_800_airport_enbr_scenario"

-  Then I try to load this scenario called "Pmdg_737_800_airport_enbr_scenario" and P3D crash to desktop!!

(even if I restart p3d and try to load it again, same issue also after reboot pc)

Hope some can bring some light on this "hangarship" software, Please advise

Appriciated any update/hint or tips, please

- complete new win10/64 computer installed.

Click Start  and then type "View Problem" and it should give you "View All Problem Reports" as an option. Select it. Look for P3D in the menu and select the latest error log. Paste the contents here.

I've seen at least three posts in the past few months with a P3D scenario load problem,  all found to be caused by a non-P3D compatible aircraft in simObjects. I just don't happen to recall the name but it is Polish I think.

You got a Posky 737 or 777 installed?  Remove them and try again.

Maybe try loading one of the PMDG Tutorial #2 saved flights .. like EHAM-LOWI Before Takeoff flight.
