Titan Pascal and donations to AVSIM.  Titan's nice, but AVSIM's essential :good:

Forever indebted to the late Michael Greenblatt of FSGS.

Going to go out on a curveball and say the Just Flight TB-10/TB-20.

The last upgrade that added F1 GTN750 (and 650) integration, better FDE, etc did it for me.  Hands down the most immersive and enjoyable GA experience in the sim for me.

It has:-

- Gorgous textures

- F1 GTN integration

- Fantatic custom sounds for every switch

- Engine 'care' simulation / consequence

- Lot's of other nice features; log book, etc.

FSL A320 would have been top, if we had custom key commands (for the FCU). These are important to me and currently prevent my enjoying it to it's potential.    When the key commands come, it'll be #1 for me.

It's rare these days that top quality products for FSX and P3d are freeware. Little Navmap comes to mind as one exception. Most good addons are donationware and I would have a hard time understanding why someone would recommend such a product and not contribute financially to its development.

Indeed. I miss them much too. Very unfortunately it looks like both this and SDK release are not priorities for FSLabs.

On the other hand it is such an incredible addon I can even break my own rule and use it without key command and FS2Crew support.

AS16 and FSL A320, for sure. I got P3D for the first time in 2016 also, but it's not the revolution the hype lead it to be (not to mention that it's 500MB harder on VAS for equivalent slider settings from FSX).

My computer died the real death and forced an upgrade, so that was the biggie in the last 6 months. Flight-sim related after that:

- X-Plane 11

- Xenviro or SkyMaxx Pro v4, depending on which ends up as a keeper

- Carenado Pilatus PC-12

- Dreamfoil Bell 407

It wasn't a big year for plane purchases here, apparently. Most of what I fly are still pre-2016 releases. Looking forward to picking up something new this year, like the Dreamfoil Hughes 500D in development.
