January 12, 20179 yr I know, it's an old beast, LOL. I cannot move my view in the cockpit in XP 11 except for with T-IR, I cannot move the view or look around with my joystick (MS Sidewinder Precision Pro) or with the keyboard arrows. Aaron Tirrell
January 12, 20179 yr To toggle TIR on/off in the sim, you can assign a button to sim/view/track-ir_toggle* This let's you use the normal mouse/HAT look and quick view functions again. Just push the button again to get back to TIR. *that's for X-Plane 10. I didn't use X-Plane 11 yet short of some little tests, so you'd need to check if the command still exists.
January 12, 20179 yr The regular Pause function of Track IR itself also works for this. Take note though that if you move yourself around, enabling TrackIR will undo your movement. Unfortunately. If you want to reposition yourself and still be able to use Track IR you'll need the free x-camera addon. (Still haven't tried it myself yet but it looks great!) https://www.stickandrudderstudios.com/x-camera/

A must, setting multiple views with TrackIR delimiters, transitions, fixed external views, chase view, target view,...on my unmissable list for Xplane. Riccardo Viecca
