Sound driver issue

Hi folks, I'm having an issue with my sound driver. Tried to update the driver last week, but it keeps failing and I receive an 0xE0000346 error code, and I am unable to find a way to fix it. 

 

The issue started whereby I couldn't get the ATIS/briefing communications from ASN, and read on their forum it maybe a driver issue so went ahead and downloaded the lastest from ASUS, but it could not complete the operation. Any ideas on how I can rectify?

 

M/B ASUS Z170-A

O/S Windows 10 64-bit

Do you really need the asus driver?

Try deleting it and let Win10 install what it wants to.

Have you tried go back to a restore point on windows before the sound issue to test the sound.
