Please do this:

1. Re-install the Dash 8 aircraft (with the latest updates for it).

2. Re-install FS2Crew for the Dash.

3. Right click on the FS2Crew Config Manager.  Select "Run as Admin".

4. Press the Enable FS2Crew button.

Should work.

I'm having the same issue.

I've installed the 1.0.19 (with and without hotfix B).

I'm installing the SP3 version as Side by Side for FSX: Steam and FSX on Windows 10. Hoping to use the button version.

I've removed and re-added the Q400, uninstalled and reinstalled the FS2Crew multiple times and no luck.

Any tips would be appreciated.

EDIT 1:

If I install it in my original FSX folder, it installs, but doesn't work.

EDIT 2:

I finally got it to work by completing the following steps:

  1. Uninstalled FSX-SE.
  2. Modified Registry to move original FSX register path to FSX to FSX-SE.
  3. Re-installed FS2Crew Majestic Dash 8 Config Manager Side by Side

Hope this helps someone in the future.

It's the side by side stuff that's causing the problem.

Do you really need side by side?

It really only makes sense to have one version of FSX running, and that's the Steam version.

As a recent convert from FSX to FSX-SE, I didn't even relize there was a difference prior to installing FS2Crew.

You have a side by side install?

Personally, I would just get rid of the side by side install.  There's no point in having both MS FSX and Steam FSX at the same time, and all it does is cause problem for installers.

Side by side installs are still needed as there are many missions which will work in FSX and not in FSX-SE for example.
