GPS For CaptainSim C-130

Recommended Posts

I recently purchased the CaptainSim C-130 Experience (all-in-one). It uses the standard FSX GPS 500. I want to change it to a 530 and have done this many times in other aircraft, default or otherwise. However, I can't seem to get it to work in this particular aircraft. I've changed the panel.cfg file and even put the gauge in the panel file. It still shows the 500.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Reggie

Can't tell what the problem is without seeing your panel.cfg.  You said you put the gauge in the

panel file.  Did you put the GPS 530 .cab file in your panel folder or is it in the Main Gauges folder?

This is my panel.cfg where I substituted the GNS530 in place of the standard GPS500 in my 737-800.
