PMDG 777 Introduction Manual

I am trying to set up P3D v.3.4.18 for optimum performance with the PMDG 777.

 

Referring to the 'PMDG 777-200LR/F Introduction and Use' manual, I can find only 'FSX In-Game Settings' but nothing about settings for Prepar3D.

 

Is there a version of the Introduction manual that covers P3D? If not, which P3D settings should I use?

 

I have tried the In-Game settings in P3D but find there is, for instance, no mention of 'Global Texture Resolution' nor any other of the settings mentioned for FSX.

 

Anyone have some ideas?!

There are separate documents for FSX and P3D. If you bought the P3D version of the PMDG 777 you received the P3D version of the Introduction.  Check the cover page (first page), within the picture of the 777 there is a green band and 'FOR PREPAR3D'

 

If you bought the FSX version of the PMDG 777 then you cannot use it in P3D.

Ah! Thanks, Dan. I've now found it! And Tutorial-1. Both for P3D.

 

But not Tutorial-1.5 for P3D, which does not seem to have been downloaded with the aircraft. Where can I find that one for P3D?

Sorry, I thought you were referring to computer folders!

OK. I downloaded PMDG 777 Tutorial v1.5.zip, but it only contains the Tutorial-1.5 for FSX.

 

There is no other D/L for the 777... does this mean this one works for FSX AND P3D?

Yes, the Tutorial will work with either FSX or P3D. You might need to interpret the instructions for setting up FSX as they apply to P3D but I'm confident you can do that.
