December 16, 200520 yr I now have FScene Europe Fall and I intended to get Winter and then Spring when it's spring and then in the same way Summer. This won't be possible since after 1 Jan 2006 we can only buy complete 4 seasons pack. What is best to do1) Get Winter now and forget about Spring Summer2) Get all four seasons for Europe (i.e three new seasons for me)1) means a price I liked and 2) feels somewhat expensive at least for me at the present.I only wan't Europe and not USA since I have heard that FScene USA is not good and I already have BEV Fall and I think BEV is considered better
December 16, 200520 yr Keep your money and wait for the superior BEV or get some freeware like Lennart's.
December 16, 200520 yr >Keep your money and wait for the superior BEV or get some>freeware like Lennart's.But how long will the wait be for BEV Europe? I have already tried Lennart's and I don't wan't them.Maybe I can get FScene Winter now and later BEV Spring Summer Europe.
December 16, 200520 yr Bev Europe is planned to start with Spring in the spring of 2006. Of course there is North American Winter and Spring to release first and schedules always seem to have a way of slipping. :) Tony=http://www.flightsim-bevs.com]
December 16, 200520 yr "Maybe I can get FScene Winter now and later BEV Spring Summer Europe."It depends on which you loike the look of. If you like both BEV and FS Scene then mix 'em up if you can't wait for BEV's. I only suggested BEV 'cos IMO they look so much better. I just don't dig FSScene. In fact, given a choice between FSScene and the default I'd rather have the default.
December 17, 200520 yr ...or wait for Ultimate Terrain Europe. FScene is currently the best choice.Pat
December 17, 200520 yr >...or wait for Ultimate Terrain Europe. FScene is currently>the best choice.>>Pat=http://www.flightsim-bevs.com]UT and FScene do two different things. UT will place detailed roads, railroads, streams, rivers, coastlines and urban landclass. FScene (and BEV) are the textures painted onto the landscape. UT's landclass will tell FS where to draw a town texture. FScene/BEV provide the image that is then drawn.UT and FScene/BEV compliment each other, they don't replace each other.Tony

As far as I know they are both replacement textures i.e. you can only have one of them at the same time. >I only suggested BEV 'cos IMO they look so much better. I>just don't dig FSScene. December 17, 200520 yr >UT and FScene do two different things. UT will place detailed>roads, railroads, streams, rivers, coastlines and urban>landclass. Then maybe it's possible that UT will repair something broken. Currently have European Enhanced Terrain installed and where I live I see rivers floating over and at the side of hills. Also we have roads at each side of a river. In FS I see two roads on one side.Maybe UT will correct this?
December 17, 200520 yr it probably will, at least to a degree. If the data available to the creators isn't accurate enough for that kind of scale there's little they can do of course.
