Xp11 triple screen mode can't click on pop up windows?

It seems with pb6, as soon as I switch to full screen 5760 mode.. any pop up boxes that require keyboard or mouse can't be brought to focus. I tried everything. Example would be xcamera window or atc etc

 

If I switch back to single full screen it all works

 

Anyone else having this issue?

If i run full screen on just the left or the right the same issue occurs.. full screen on center screen only..no issue with that.. 

 

so its left/right or 5760 that this occurs.

 

My left one is DP, Right one is DVI, the good center one is DP to DVI on a 1080 ftw hybrid for reference

Yep that's it. And if you full screen just to left or right can't click at all. You can click gauges just not pop up windows

 

I was going to try swapping cables to see ifor it followed bit this sounds like an XP bug. I wonder if anyone has submitted it?

According to release notes it said that in Public Beta 8 that the inability to click on pop up windows on the left or right screens in a triple screen setup were fixed.. however i'm not finding this to be the case.. i even reset my preferences folder by renaming it to clear things out (this fixed the inability to set views through control and shift keys btw).. Anyone else still finding pop up windows unclickable on the left and right?

It doesnt seem to affect the ability to click on the map on other screens, however.. pop ups from x-camera arent clickable as an example (with this being the only plugin running too).

I submitted a bug before PB8 about the inability to click and un-dock the 430 and 530 (3 monitors) and that was fixed. But admittedly I did not say anything about the left or right screens.

What pop up items do you have on those left and right screens that you wan to to pop-up?  Can you move, say the FMC, to the left and right screens?

My case test:  I set xp to use either the left or right screen.. if you bring up the map, it works fine, you can click it etc (i'd bet fmc is fine too).. but if for example, you use x-camera.. then goto the menu, and click control panel or settings.. the window pops up (on the left or right screen).. and you cant click it to close or interact.

Btw i did go back and reinstall a clean pb8, same issue persists for confirmation.

I have submitted a bug report on this issue..

 

But more testing revealed a few things..

 

Basically if you have 3 screens going on and your middle one is the "Main display" in windows.. if you set the sim to use the left or right (only), it doesnt know how to handle clicks on those left or right screens.. ie: when the xcamera window comes up, you cant click it.  Same deal with triple wide all at once.. the window pops up on the left, you cant click it.

 

If you disable the other two, leave the left one on, run the sim, you can click (because its the main display).

 

And, whats more.. if you go through the trouble of enabling surround mode, when the window pops up on the left you CAN click it (so for now this is my workaround).. i toggle surround mode or just leave it on.

I see not more movement on this chat.

I have the latest xplane on steam, face the same dilemma when running 3 screens

e.g. opening anything from the plugin menu is not active/clickable

they pop up on my no 2 screen and its also the main front facing display of my xplane

i have 4 screens, 3 in a row at the bottom, numbered according to Windows 2/3/4

and the main / no1 screen for windows ( not used in xplane) sits on top of screen no 2

the reason I made the top one the main screen is because every windows pop up or notice displays there. out of xplane view

 

any new news on this issue?
